About All Saints, Barton Stacey

Welcome!

The Church of All Saints stands on among the oldest continuous sites of Christian worship in England and is the spiritual hub of the thriving village community.

Whether you’re curious about faith, looking for a place to connect, or just seeking a moment of quiet reflection, our church is open to everyone. You don’t need to have any previous experience with church or Christianity to join us—you are welcome just as you are.

Christianity is a faith centred on Jesus Christ, a man who lived over 2,000 years ago. Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God, who came to show us God’s love and how we can live in relationship with Him and each other. Through His life, teachings, death, and resurrection, Jesus offers hope, forgiveness, and a fresh start to anyone who seeks it. The message of Christianity is one of love, grace, and inclusion—no matter who you are or where you’re from.

In our church, we aim to be a community where people can grow in faith, support each other, and explore big questions about life and belief. You’ll find a warm and welcoming space where it’s okay to ask questions, learn at your own pace, and discover more about God in a way that feels right for you.

Our services are open to everyone, whether you’re a regular churchgoer, someone returning after a time away, or completely new. Come along and experience the calm of prayer, the joy of music, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a community.

No matter where you’re at on your journey, you are always welcome here. Feel free to visit, ask questions, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our church. We look forward to meeting you!

There has been a church here for more than 1,000 years, making it one of the oldest sites of continuous Christian worship in England, but it’s no museum. The church is a welcoming community, with lots going on for people of all ages.

Services are held weekly at 10.30am.

The church also has a vibrant link with Barton Stacey Church of England School, contributing to collective worship, and adding to the richness of pupils’ experience throughout the school.

We welcome visitors and the key is readily available at the shop across the road.

The parish of Barton Stacey & Bullington also includes the hamlets of Tidbury, Norton, Newton Stacey and Bransbury, and is part of Bright Waters Benefice.

The Benefice of Bright Waters

All Saints, Barton Stacey is proud to be part of the Benefice of Bright Waters, a collective of nine churches working together to serve our communities. Through shared resources, collaborative events, and united worship, we strengthen our mission and extend our reach, creating a sense of unity and support across the region.
